Summer 2018: High Altitude Emotions

The 2017/2018 winter season at Passo San Pellegrino was one of the snowiest and most exciting we've had in the last several years, but the summer coming up will be just as intense and spectacular.

Just a few minutes' drive from Moena and Falcade, between Val di Fassa and the Belluno Dolomites…when the city heat becomes unbearable and the beaches are all too crowded, Passo San Pellegrino is ready to welcome you with its immense green spaces surrounded by spectacular views of the Dolomites, fresh, pure high mountain air and plenty of activities to have fun and relax immersed in nature.

Sports fans have a lot to choose from. There are geological trails, the vie ferrate (WWI cable supply routes) and plenty of cycling and mountain bike routes, while kids will enjoy an immense playground featuring open fields, alpine lakes, streams, themed routes, simple walks and mountain dairies with pasture animals. Also, the Col Margherita cable car lift and the Costabella chair lift will be open from June 23 to September 16, 2018, so anyone can easily make it up to the summit. Click HERE for info, prices and timetables.

What's not to be missed? Certainly not the new Col Margherita Park, built in association with MUSE from Trento. The park aims to impart scientific notions about the history and geology of the Dolomites in a fun way. There is a route featuring 3 different instillations that can pique the curiosity of young and old with stories of volcanoes, glaciers, islands, marine seascapes, geological eras and fossil evidence.
