The slopes where champions train

In the Passo San Pellegrino-Falcade ski area you can ski on 60 km of downhill slopes, where the snow is always perfectly maintained, and which are suitable for skiers of any level, from beginners to the major league athletes on the Italian National Alpine Ski team, who usually come here to train and prepare for important competitions.

Therefore, a vacation spent here means you will always find the best possible snow conditions and, with a little luck, you can see Italian skiing stars: Cristian Deville, Stefano Gross and Chiara Costazza, who come from right here in Val di Fassa, but also Roberto Nani, Christof Innerhofer, Dominik Paris, Manfred Moelgg, Peter Fill, Federica Brignone, sisters Elena and Nadia Fanchini, Daniela Merighetti, Verena Stuffer and many more.

Among the champions’ favourite slopes, don’t miss the “Le Coste” and  “Nuova Cima Uomo” runs: both are accessible by chairlift with spectacular, panoramic views (Gigante and Cima Uomo) and they stand out for being very wide and dynamic, with plenty of jumps and gradient changes. On the Nuova Cima Uomo there is a beautiful black run that starts at an altitude of 2458 m; last year the XXVI Winter Universiadi games took place here.
