Everything has been confirmed for Friday, December 4th, opening day for the slopes and lifts in the Ski Area San Pellegrino, which spans the Val di Fassa and the Province of Belluno. The programmed snow cannon systems are functioning perfectly and snow plow and cat operators are working day and night to insure skiing connections between Passo San Pellegrino and Falcade.
“Even though there is a scarcity of natural snow, we’ve managed to guarantee the imminent openings of 10 slopes, including school slopes. “I believe these results are really something to be proud of,” says Mauro Vendruscolo, President of the Col Margherita Lift Enterprises “The long weekend of the “Immacolata” holiday is the first big date of the winter season, and once again we have lived up to the expectations of skiing fans.”
Lift facilities opening on Friday, December 4th, include the Col Margherita funicular lift at Passo San Pellegrino and the new, 8 –person Falcade-Le Buse cabin lift, which comfortably carries both skiers and pedestrians to the summit in less than six minutes.
