Polartec Scufoneda
04-11 March 2012 - In the San Pellegrino-Falcade Ski Area, the Polartec Scufoneda is back. It’s a week dedicated to Freeride and Telemark organized by the “Scufons del Cogo” Sports Association, coming into its fourth edition.
This sports event is tied to skiing excursions to discover the Dolomites with Alpine Guides.There are telemark courses for kids, mountain safety courses, hikes, entertainment and parties, surrounded the colourful atmosphere that has always distinguished the Polartec Scufoneda. For years, telemark and freeride have been attracting top international riders toPasso San Pellegrino, to spend a week immersed in a 360° experience of the Dolomites’ natural winter beauty.
There are also two competitions scheduled, a freeride race on Saturday and the Absolute Italian Championship in telemark on Sunday, when national and international champions from both disciplines will be taking each other on.
