The Dolomite's Pizolada

01 April 2012 - The thirty-six edition of the individual alpine skiing race that is part of the Italian Skiing Cup will take place as usual at Passo San Pellegrino.

It will be a full day of fun alongside the sports show. The protagonists are of course specialists in using sealskin, ready to compete on a difficult track of 18.3 kilometers. The track envisages a total 1840-meters climb, and starts off from the Flora Alpina refuge (in Valfredda) going on through Forcella Laghet (2765 meters of altitude), Col Margherita (2545 meters of altitude) and Forcella Vallazza (2521 meters of altitude).

Fans will have the chance to see the last part of the competition - including the final 500 meters on the slope that will determine the winner - without making any effort. All they will need is to use the cableway to get to Col Margherita.
