The Tre Valli Giant Slalom
09 April 2012 - A renowned giant slalom competition will take place on the Col Margherita, one of the most beautiful and spectacular skiing slopes in the entire Dolomite area.
Athletes will face a track with around 80 gates, on a 3-kilometer long slope with a drop of 638 meters. Anyone can participate, and among announced contenders there are many stars of the Italian national skiing team, too. Those athletes usually train on the slopes in Passo San Pellegrino during the winter to prepare for the World Cup races, but in this case they will just be looking to entertain the fans and they'll be trying to have some fun themselves.
This is a can't-miss event that opens the great 2011/2012 winter season!
