The Passo San Pellegrino-Falcade ski area boasts over 60 kilometres of runs to satisfy any type of skier, from experts to beginners. There are fast, modern lift facilities, fabulous views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomites and first class hotel accommodations, all of which will be officially presented as part of the 2011/2012 winter season preview on Friday, August 12th, in the Municipal Square in Falcade (BL).
It will be a great party starting at about 4:00 in the afternoon, with a business expo where the leading companies from their sectors will display all the latest innovations in shoes and technical equipment for the mountains. In between stands, tourists and winter sports fans can taste and buy local food products and enjoy the rhythms of music with Head Rock and a direct broadcast by Radio Più.
The evening will start to heat up at 9:30 with exciting pictures and videos on hand as we reveal an exclusive preview of all the news and events which will further enhance the already rich tourist offerings this winter in the Passo San Pellegrino-Falcade ski area, one of the most popular ski resorts between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige.
This veritable paradise on the snow is directly connected, skis on feet, to the Trevalli resorts, and it’s also an integral part of the Dolomiti Stars consortium and the wider ranging Dolomiti Superski, the biggest skiing carousel in the world with 12 ski resorts, 1,200 kilometres of perfectly snowy runs and 450 lift facilities.
Highlights in the Falcade-Passo San Pellegrino ski area include the not-to-be-missed “Ski Tour delle Emozioni”, that starts out from the hamlet of Molino, in Falcade, and takes you to the highest and most panoramic point in the ski area, Col Margherita (2513 m), over a route that winds through the magical silence of spruce and ash pine forests, in a peaceful atmosphere featuring extraordinarily beautiful scenery.
