At Passo San Pellegrino everything is ready: finally you can ski from one end to the other in this renown ski area ensconced between Veneto and Trentino, a veritable paradise for winter sports lovers with more than 60 km of slopes and 15 lift facilities.
In fact, a new access route has been opened that allows you to connect with Falcade-Passo San Pellegrino without having to take off your skis. And, in addition to the normal shuttle service, for the second year in the row there is the convenient Elastibus service, with two 20-seat mini buses which will run back and forth every day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. between Alpe di Lusia (one stop, at the bottom of the lifts) and Passo San Pellegrino (two stops, near the Costabella and Chiesetta-Cima Uomo lifts) and vice-versa, running every 15 minutes.
For cross country skiing fans, on the plain in Falcade you can already enjoy the 5 km loop that winds through the forests and ample spaces surrounding the village. You can choose between various routes, starting from the ski school run, where beginners can learn basic techniques with the help of expert cross country instructors, all the way to the Biois torrent, for more experienced skiers. Next to the ticket office there is a well-supplied ski rental centre and the headquarters for the Cross Country Skiing School.
The Centro Fondo Alochet Cross Country Centre at Passo San Pellegrino is also open, an important point of reference for Nordic skiing that allows for skiing at a median altitude of 1800 metres, following stupendous routes immersed in the woods near San Pellegrino Lake.
