White, light and pure... snow has arrived to colour the winter season at Passo San Pellegrino. Just in time for the year end celebrations, this morning, just as predicted by the weather forecast, a light layer of snow covered the entire landscape, rendering it all the more magical and extraordinary.
All lifts and skiable connections to Falcade are already fully operational, the slopes are safe and in perfect condition and a rich calendar of events will welcome tourists who have chosen to spend their Christmas holidays at Passo San Pellegrino.
Saturday, December 31st at 5:30 p.m., in the Chiesetta hamlet, don’t miss the torch lit procession organized by the Moena Dolomiti Italian Ski & Snowboard School. Guest of honour will be two-time Cycling World Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist Paolo Bettini, current Team Coach for the Italian National Road Cycling team, who is enjoying a white week with his entire family at Passo San Pellegrino. As part of our tradition as well, local hotels will offer their guests an unforgettable dinner gala and at midnight we’ll ring in the new year with a spectacular fireworks show.
For a romantic experience you might want to try a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh across the splendid Fuciade basin and a candlelit dinner in any one of many lodges scattered along the slopes of the ski area, where even the most sophisticated palates will be tempted by our tasty mountain specialties.
