Passo San Pellegrino is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable holiday on the snow, with more than 60 km of slopes of varying length and difficulty that spread out at altitudes between 1918 and 2513 metres, all equipped with cutting edge lift systems and state of the art, programmed artificial snow machines.
Infinite possibilities for sport and fun. Alpine skiing, but not just that. At Passo San Pellegrino winter sports lovers will find a well equipped centre for cross country skiing, an enviable area reserved for snowboarding fans and, new for the 2011-2012 season, a track for freeride that is easily accessible using the fast Col Margherita cable car lift. And let’s not forget telemark, mountaineer skiing and snow tubing, romantic rides in horse drawn sleighs or snowshoe excursions in the company of expert Alpine Guides. For the joy of the whole family, at Passo San Pellegrino there is also a huge playground called Kids’ Paradise, where children can play and have fun with slides, tunnels, rolling carpets and fairytale and legendary characters, assisted by qualified expert staff.
The (Scuola Italiana di Sci) Moena Dolomiti Italian Ski School, with specialised and multilingual instructors, offers only the best for anyone who wishes to learn how to ski or perfect their own style. Here they teach all types of winter sports, including telemark, carving and snowboard. Also, during the winter season there are organised daily excursions using snowshoes, known as ciaspè. For children at Passo San Pellegrino there is the (campo scuola) "Chiesetta" school slope, served by the ski lift with the same name, which is easy to get to and always sunny.
Here you’ll find sport, fun, exceptional scenery, but also world class accommodations located directly on the slopes and fast shuttle services. In addition to the normal public bus system, skiers can get around quickly and easily thanks to Elastibus: 2 mini buses with a 20 person capacity commute back and forth every day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. between Alpe di Lusia (one stop, at the bottom of the main lifts) and Passo San Pellegrino (two stops, near the Costabella and Chiesetta-Cima Uomo lifts), running every 15 minutes.
